Biographical history

Agnes Bradley was the wife of Joseph Henry Haddock, who was born in Kingsey Falls on 16 June 1885. Joseph Henry was a fourth-generation descendant of Joseph Haddock, who had lived in Scotland at the turn of the 19th century and settled in Ireland shortly thereafter. Agnes Bradley learned the Haddock family history from her father-in-law, James William Haddock, and his brother, Salem Haddock.

Custodial history

Scope and content

The fonds consists of information on the history of the descendants of Joseph Haddock, from the family's settlement in Ireland in the 19th century to the departure of the last Haddocks from Kingsey Falls in 1907. It provides information on the family's Atlantic crossing, their settlement in Kingsey Falls, their genealogy, and what happened to some members of the family who emigrated to other parts of Canada and to the United States. It consists of one item, which reconstructs the Haddock family's history.
