Hay wagon and hay rake

In this photograph, we see a hay wagon pulled by two horses. The wagon is full and a man, Roland Vincent, is seated in the pile of hay in the wagon and drives the two horses pulling the wagon. Another man is walking alongside the wagon. In the left foreground, we see a hay rack that was probably used before, pulled by a horse.
On the back of the photograph, this note: "Roland Vincent sur le voyage de foin. Bishopton".

The collection contains primary source materials relating to Alberta Everett (née Ross), her family, and the cultural heritage of the Eastern Townships from about the 1920s to 2017. It consists primarily of photographs, audiovisual recordings, and artefacts documenting events and celebrations around Eaton Township (Bulwer, Birchton, Bury), Lennoxville, and Hatley. It also consists of some textual records attesting to the personal lives of Alberta and her family. The collection is comprised of the following series: Family History ([ca. 1920s]- [ca. 1980]), Personal Life (1944-[ca. 1990]), and Townships History ([ca. 1930]-2017).

Personal Life

The series contains primary source information on Alberta Everett's personal life from about 1944 to 1990. It consists of her autograph book; her Grade 10 Certificate of General Proficiency; and 11 photographs of Alberta alone or with classmates and friends.

St-Adolphe-de-Dudswell

The file contains source material on St-Adolphe-de-Dudswell and its neighbor towns. It consists of a chronology of the St-Adolphe-de-Dudswell from 1792 to 2000, an incomplete biography of Thomas Shaw Chapman, an excursion map around Dudswell pond (Mirror lake) in early 20th century and a tourism guide for Marbleton, Bishopton and Dudswell in 1992.
