Biographical history
Esther Myra Williams was born in 1896 to Charles Noah Williams (1859-1937) and Edith Mabel Ferrin (1869-1950). She married Carl Rich Stevens (1893-1974) and together, they had three children: Pearl Edith Stevens (1918-2001), Robert Williams Stevens (1920-1997), and Mead Ferrin Stevens (1922-1992). Esther died in 1984.

Scope and content
The subseries contains primary source information pertaining to Esther Stevens (née Williams) from around 1900 to 1974, in Derby and Island Pond, VT. It consists of postcards, greeting cards, and letters written by Esther, addressed to Lill Ferrin Baldwin and Harold Ferrin Baldwin. Some of the correspondence is also signed by Carl Stevens, Esther's husband.
