The file contains primary source information on dispensations that were approved by the Grand Lodge of Quebec for Lingwick Lodge, No. 79, from 1905 to 2010. It consists of correspondence requesting dispensations for ceremonies of Joint Installations of Officers as of 1989 with the members of Friendship Lodge, No. 66 (Sawyerville, Qc), and Victoria Lodge, No. 16 (Sherbrooke, Qc), and for other fraternal visits between lodges, as well as changes to Article X of the Bylaws.

Item is a documentary project researched and produced by Barbara Verity and narrated by Joyce Cochrane on covered bridges in the Eastern Townships, produced around 1977. Included in the documentary are images of the covered bridges at Fitch Bay (Narrows), Milby, Capelton, Coaticook (Drouin), Stanbridge East (Monaghan), Melbourne (Creek/Gibson), Highwater (Province Hill/de la Frontière), Gould (Fisher Hill/McVetty-McKenzie), Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley (Rexford), Cowansville (Freeport), Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge (Pike River/des Rivières), and Island Brook (McDermott).

It consists of two interviews with Adélard Bouffard and Kenneth McIver conducted in 1978 and 1979 on the histories of Lingwick and its surrounding regions, including 4 CDs, 2 transcripts and 4 related photographs, and 7 documents of historical information on topics such as a merchant and builder in Lingwick and Ste-Marguerite in early 20th century, the arrival of the first francophone family in Lingwick in late 19th century, the establishment of Gould and Lingwick from 19th century to 20th century, the first Catholic mass and francophone school in early 20th century in Lingwick and the population of Lingwick from 1842 to 2001.
