The file contains mainly the correspondence between Allen and Ethel Martin and others from the 1960s to the 1990s and a few other miscellaneous documents from 1979 to 1981. Most of the correspondence were from Martins' friends or relatives, and it includes a variety of topics such as invitations, greetings and thank-you cards and letters, replies to inquiries on family history and other updates. It also includes a diary of 1979, a treasurer's report of St. Paul's Rest Home of Bury in 1979 when Allen Martin was a member of its financial committe, a notice for an election of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec in 1980 and a letter by Allen Martin as a member of Ordre CPA in 1981, a notice of opening for positions of the Corporation Professionnelle des Comptables en Administration Industrielle du Québec, a notice from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a question list of an oral history project: The Eastern Townships During World War II in 1979, a name list for the request for messages for wedding and birthday anniversaries from the Prime Minister in 1983 and a census of Bury in 1842.
