The fonds consists of a souvenir folder created by Hugh McVittie of Ridgetown, Ontario, who came to stay at the Knowlton Grove Hotel during his childhood between 1930 and 1940. It contains information about the hotel, a hand drawn map of the different buildings and many photographs taken during that period. The Knowlton Grove Hotel used to be operated by the Knowlton Conference Association.

The guitar player on the far left side has been identified as Merlin Dewing and the man beside him has been identified as Jimmy Piper. The fiddle player on the far right side is Sam Hopper, and the woman to the left of him is his wife, Aveline Hopper (née Sarrasin).
