The item is an interview of Thomas Hilton Garside, ARCA, (1906-1980) in Montreal by Gerald Stevens. Garside painted a number of Quebec scenes and the interview contains information on his development as an artist, the influence of F.S. Coburn on his development and his professional experiences.
