The verso of the map includes a brief history of the city, photographs of landmarks, and a message from "Jacqueline the 1st," Reigning Queen of the City of Sherbrooke for 1962.

The file contains information on various military regiments and related subjects from around the 1890s to the 1980s. Among the photographs (mostly reproduced) are images of 79th Shefford with Col. Bowman; 13th Scottish Light Dragoons; Captain McCorkell's company, 60th Battalion; 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles shortly before going overseas; 7/11 Hussars; the gymnastic class of the 117th Battalion, with inset of F.P. Butler; Canadian Rifle Team, Bisley, 1919; 16th Armoured Regiment/ 7/11 Hussars; as well as a number of unidentified photographs. The album consists largely of photographs from COTC (Canadian Officers' Training Corps) training in Sherbrooke in 1940 and the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment in training, as well as the Sherbrooke High School Cadet Corps in 1923, Captain Ray Muir, Lt-Col. McA'Nulty, and Col. A.A. McGee.
