The series contains primary source information on the administration, activities, and finances of Loyal Orange Lodge (No. 1308) at Sawyerville from 1870 to 1995. It consists of a declaration of registration, certificates of incorporation, minutes, membership and attendance lists, dues registers, a receipts and disbursements ledger, correspondence between members, and an Order of Divine Service. The series is comprised of the following files: Historical and constituent documents (1881-1970), Minutes (1885-1984), and Financial Documents (1899-1952), Membership (1891-1955), and Correspondence (1919-1946).

It consists of a copy of "Samuel June Barrows: A Circuit Rider in the Humanities" by Paul U. Kellogg and a copy of an article by Michael M. Davis titled "A History of Lake Memphremagog Region," originally published in the Sherbrooke Record on March 21, 1964, which discusses the Barrows family's summer properties on Lake Memphremagog.
