The file primarily consists of 36 programmes for awards nights and graduations at Alexander Galt Regional High School, Lennoxville. The file provides information about the school's cultural events, performances, and student activities, such as plays, awards nights, graduation ceremonies, and reunions from 1973 to 1998. It is also a source of information on the Waterville School and includes a reunion souvenir booklet, newspaper clipping and program from 1989; a photograph of the Waterville classes of Grades 4, 5 and 6 from around 1940; a proficiency certificate awarded Evelyn Smith in 1916; two concert prorgrammes from the Mitchell school from 1948 and 1965; and a programme from a performance of "Our Hearts were Young and Gay" by the Lennoxville High School Dramatic Society in 1947.

It consists of a news release regarding the results of an election survey; letters, a survey, and a list of comments from teachers regarding nuclear responsibility; letters and a poster about a demonstration on United Nations Nuclear Disarmament Day (October 20) 1984 at the Post Office on Couture Street in Sherbrooke; a letter (in English and French) about the American Strategic Defense Initiative -- also known as Star Wars; an unsigned petition, dated April 1985, addressed to Brian Mulroney (Prime Minister) and Jean Charest (Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke) regarding the government's position on defence matters and foreign affairs; a brief presented by the CFNR to the Government of Canada regarding the 1985 Green Paper on Canadian foreign policy; an advocacy letter to be sent to Jake Epp (Minister of Health & Welfare) regarding irradiated foods; a photocopy of a political cartoon from Le Soleil (September 14, 1987) mocking Jake Epp (Minister of Health & Welfare); and a photocopy of a three-part editorial by Michael Benazon on behalf of the CFNR which ran in the Sherbrooke Daily Record from November 30 to December 2, 1987.

The series contains primary source information on the history of the Eastern Townships -- especially Bulwer, Birchton, and Lennoxville -- from about 1930 to 2017. It consists of documents and photographs pertaining to the 125th anniversary of Eaton Township in 1980 and documents pertaining to the Eaton Corner 1867 celebration in 2017. It also consists of photographs depicting the Bulwer Model School; a mock wedding around 1967; Bury Canada Day celebrations around 1994; and the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion Committee in 1995 or 1996, among others. The series also consists of VHS tape recordings of the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion in 1996; the St. Patrick's Day Variety Show in Bulwer in 2001; and Lennoxville Friendship Day in 2003. Finally, it consists of wooden nickels from Hatley Canada Day celebrations and pins from various villages, community organizations, and events.
