The series consists of glass negatives relating to the professional work of John Austin Wheeler. They are mostly depicting buildings and sceneries around Knowlton, Sweetsburg and Cowansville. Many of the plaques were still in their original sleeves with identification of subjects and even location on shelves that Wheeler probably had in his studio.

Brome WestThe fonds contains Thomas Kearns' school journal for 1877, recording the names of the male scholars and their attendance, with an added biography of the teacher, by his son J. Homer Kearns, and a letter from J. Homer Kearns explaining why the document should be preserved.
Thomas KearnsThe file contains primary souce documents relating to the administrative and communication department of the Knowlton Conference Association, including correspondence, annual reports, commercial pamphlets announcing and promoting regular and special activities. The binder was probably kept by Edgar T. Capel, who was the General Superintendent.
