Item is a short film, videoed by Rachel Garber and John Mackley, and produced and edited by John Mackley, on the life, works, and influence of the renowned poet Thomas Gray. Filmed against the backdrop of the Hatley Cemetery in 2021, Steve Luxton, Poet in Residence of the Lennoxville Library, discusses Thomas Gray's work "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard" written in 1751. The film intertwines readings, discussions, and analyses to create a comprehensive narrative about Grays's life and work.

The file contains four short films videoed by Rachel Garber and John Mackley, and produced and edited by John Mackley, on the life, works, and influence of four renowned Townships poets (Thomas Gray, Louis Dudek, Ralph Gustafson, and D.G. Jones). Steve Luxton, Poet in Residence of the Lennoxville Library, discusses their work and, as a younger poet, his encounters with them. Filmed in the areas where they lived in the Eastern Townships, the videos intertwine readings, discussions, and analyses to create narratives about each poet's life and work.

It consists of photographs of the following: Iris Brown, Hugh Auger, Yves Comtois, Duncan McLeod, Lowell Naeve, Serena Naeve, Gérald Leduc, Tom Matthews, David Palmer, country singer Debbie unknown, Louise Abbott, Nick Nicholson, Joe Ford, Bishop Tim Matthews, Judge Abbott, St. Armand covered bridge, St. Mark's Chapel door, Huntingville Universalist Church, Massawippi Union Church, Dunham Anglican Church, Stanbridge Ridge Chapel, Philipsburg United Church, Knowlton Anglican Church, Hatley United Church, Milby covered bridge, Huntingville covered bridge, Lennoxville covered bridge, Ayer's Cliff covered bridge, Rock Island covered bridge, two unidentified covered bridges, Martin Rosengarten, Don Patriquin, and two unidentified women. Several of the photographic prints and negatives of covered bridges date from 1937 and 1947 but have been reproduced.

The collection contains primary source materials relating to Alberta Everett (née Ross), her family, and the cultural heritage of the Eastern Townships from about the 1920s to 2017. It consists primarily of photographs, audiovisual recordings, and artefacts documenting events and celebrations around Eaton Township (Bulwer, Birchton, Bury), Lennoxville, and Hatley. It also consists of some textual records attesting to the personal lives of Alberta and her family. The collection is comprised of the following series: Family History ([ca. 1920s]- [ca. 1980]), Personal Life (1944-[ca. 1990]), and Townships History ([ca. 1930]-2017).

The series contains primary source information on the history of the Eastern Townships -- especially Bulwer, Birchton, and Lennoxville -- from about 1930 to 2017. It consists of documents and photographs pertaining to the 125th anniversary of Eaton Township in 1980 and documents pertaining to the Eaton Corner 1867 celebration in 2017. It also consists of photographs depicting the Bulwer Model School; a mock wedding around 1967; Bury Canada Day celebrations around 1994; and the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion Committee in 1995 or 1996, among others. The series also consists of VHS tape recordings of the Bulwer-Birchton Reunion in 1996; the St. Patrick's Day Variety Show in Bulwer in 2001; and Lennoxville Friendship Day in 2003. Finally, it consists of wooden nickels from Hatley Canada Day celebrations and pins from various villages, community organizations, and events.

The repairs were done on the terrain, the basement, foundations, windows, outside walls, the roof and the floor. The series is comprised of the following subseries: Correspondence (1997-2001), Finances (1999-2001), Preparation of the project (1999-2000), Work advancement (2000-2001) and Photographs (2000).
