The file consists of Minnie Hallowell Bowen's flag proposal; preparatory designs, notes, and découpages; textile samples; and a photocopy of a press clipping inviting the public to visit the editorial office of the Sherbrooke Daily Record, where Minnie Hallowell Bowen's flag proposal hung and comment on it.

This file contains primary source information on the life of Lloyd H. Bowen of Sherbrooke, QC from 1904 to sometime in the 1940s. It consists of photographs not included in the other subjects files relating to the life of Lloyd H. Bowen. It includes photographs of Lloyd as a baby, skiing, in choir robes, with a group of men at a sales convention, at his wedding to Helen J. Dingle, with playmates as a young boy, and camping with friends as an adolescent.

The file contains primary source information on the history of the Eardley-Wilmot family, predominantly in England but also in Canada, from around 1893 to 1933, 1952 to 1954, and approximately 1996. It consists of handwritten notes related to the family crest and other family history, handwritten and typed family trees, a page from The Illustrated London News (June 17, 1893) displaying a photo captioned "The Bazaar at the Royal United Service Institution, Whitehall: The Committee" which includes Captain S.M. Eardley-Wilmot, sermons prepared by the Reverend Prebendary E.A. Eardley-Wilmot (including one published in The Record May 21, 1909), and pages from the 1917 edition of the book Debrett's Peerage, Baronetage, Knightage and Companionage to be revised by C.H. Bowen, as well as later editions of the book.

The series contains source information on Lloyd H. Bowen's education; sports activities; employment; financial situation; and involvement in scouting, debating associations, St. Peter's Church in Sherbrooke, and the Cadet Corps and Militia from the late 1910s to the 1930s. It also gives information on his daily activities during his sojourns in England and Winnipeg. The series includes mainly correspondence, certificates, photographs, press clippings, diaries, speeches, poems, booklets, and leaflets. The file contains primary source information on the lives of Minnie Hallowell Bowen and the people with whom she interacted, mainly from around Sherbrooke from 1823 to 1940. It consists of blueprints for a house, a handwritten prayer, an envelope with folded papers holding locks of Cecil, Rose, Lloyd, and Helen's hair, an advertisement for a private theatre show at Rockmount (1844), two seals of public notaries (“Daniel Thomas Lower Canada” and “E. Pellew Felton Province of Quebec”), and a piece of the Lone Pine with the inscription: "Portion of the Lone Pine from Rock in St. Francis River at Sherbrooke, PQ. Noted in Early History of the Eastern Tps. Destroyed in [violent] storm."

The file consists of six booklets and books of poetry by Minnie Hallowel Bowen. Three of them, Adoration Poems, Red Flower of Life Poems, and The Innkeeper of Bethlehem, were printed by Page and Sangster Print Company of Sherbrooke, in a series of publications called The Little Grey Books. A fourth one dated 1936, also printed by Page and Sangster Print Company is entitled Winnowaïa. The book is dedicated to Eva Matheson White, its foreword is by Frank Oliver Call, and it is related to the Abenakis. The other booklets are The Canadian Navy and The Story of the Lone Pine (1921). The file also includes a one-page transcript entitled "Epic of the Lone Pine" and the typescript for Winnowaïa.
