Many of her poems relate to local events, to the World Wars, and to Canadian and British politics. The fonds also provides information on the activities of Minnie's family members, including but not limited to: her husband Cecil H. Bowen, her son Lloyd H. It consists of Dadie's last will and testament, a summary of her estate and how it was to be distributed, an unsigned letter dated 1954, addressed to Harry E. Grundy discussing her marriage to Frederick Ernest Smith, and a typed document (likely dating from sometime between 1970 and 1999) detailing her relation to the family and explaining her nickname "Dadie."

The file contains primary source information on the history of the Eardley-Wilmot family, predominantly in England but also in Canada, from around 1893 to 1933, 1952 to 1954, and approximately 1996. It consists of handwritten notes related to the family crest and other family history, handwritten and typed family trees, a page from The Illustrated London News (June 17, 1893) displaying a photo captioned "The Bazaar at the Royal United Service Institution, Whitehall: The Committee" which includes Captain S.M. Eardley-Wilmot, sermons prepared by the Reverend Prebendary E.A. Eardley-Wilmot (including one published in The Record May 21, 1909), and pages from the 1917 edition of the book Debrett's Peerage, Baronetage, Knightage and Companionage to be revised by C.H. Bowen, as well as later editions of the book.

The file contains primary source information on the life of Barbara Rose (Eardley Wilmot) Constable from around the years 1917 to 1942, 1962 to 1963, and 1993 to 1996. It consists of a memoir of a childhood Christmas, documents, including handwritten notes, pertaining to her father's life and his career in the Church, correspondence regarding her father's passing, a copy of "A Short History of the Diocese of Quebec. 1793-1993" by James T. Sweeny with Barbara's name written on it and some handwritten notes at the back, photographs of a Canada Day parade in Hatley and Hallowell Cottage in Sherbrooke, and a hand-drawn map of the houses in Sherbrooke which she visited as a child and some of their occupants.

It also consists of three versions of the Bowen family crest engraved on small metal plates.

The file contains primary source information on the travels and theatre involvement of Cecil H. Bowen of Sherbrooke, QC from 1879 to approximately 1906, and in 1986. It consists of a printed list of passengers on board the Augusta-Victoria steamship of the Hamburg-American Packet Company in November 1890 and two theatre programmes for Il Jacobi presented by the Mountfield Amateur Theatre Company in 1879 and for the comic opera The Mikado, by Gilbert and Sullivan, presented at the Clement Theatre in Sherbrooke, probably in 1906. In the Mikado, Cecil played the role of the Mikado of Japan and Minnie Hallowell Bowen the role of an elderly lady. In Il Jacobi, Cecil played the role of Jacobi and Minnie the role of Sophronia. The programmes include lists of the actors and ladies in the chorus, a synopsis, and advertisements for local businesses. It also contains a letter from Lloyd and photocopied photograph of the cast of Ermanie, which included Cecil and Minnie, from 1986, 3 photographs of Cecil in costume and a photograph the Augusta-Victoria ship that Cecil had traveled on.

The file contains primary source information on the life of Reverend Charles Revell Eardley-Wilmot from about 1895 to 1986. It consists mainly of correspondence exchanged between the Reverend and other clerical officials from both within Quebec and abroad, as well as some letters from him addressed to his wife Rose and daughter Barbara. The file also consists of some texts written by the Reverend, including one published by The Canadian Journal of Religious Thought in 1930 and one published by The Canadian Churchman in 1932. It also consists of one photograph of him, personal belongings such as his baptismal records, passport, and pocket diaries, as well as some biographical research and texts compiled by his daughter Barbara, obituaries, and a text written by his granddaughter Susan recalling her childhood memories of him. Also included in the file is a photocopy of the author's biography from the book "Benjamin Cronyn: First Bishop of Huron" written by Reverend A. H. Crowfoot, with whom Charles Revell Eardley-Wilmot corresponded.

The file contains primary source information on the employment of Lloyd H. Bowen of Sherbrooke, QC in 1928, in 1976, and around 1984. It consists of a letter of recommendation for Lloyd H. Bowen written in January 1928 by Harold W. Bass, Manager for the Western Sales Book Company in Winnipeg; a certificate issued in 1928 to Lloyd H. Bowen, residing in Sherbrooke, by the Commercial Travellers' Association of Canada, which entitles Lloyd H. Bowen to special rights, privileges, and discounts when using railways, steamboats, and hotels; an editorial article from the November 1976 edition of the Journal of the Ontario Dental Association written by J.A. Hargreaves, mentioning the appointment of Lloyd H. Bowen as a Fluoridation Officer; and a brief biographical card describing his life and his work in relation to his being awarded to Barnabus Day Award for Distinguished Service by the Ontario Dental Association in 1984 (taped to this item is part of an obituary for his sister Rose).

The series contains primary source information on the history of Sherbrooke in the 19th century. It consists of an engraving entitled "Sketch of Sherbrooke and its vicinity, Eastern Townships, Lower Canada", drawn by Joseph Bouchette or R.S.M. Bouchette, and published in "British American Land Company Views in Lower Canada" in 1836. It shows the different components of the village at the time: mills, churches, schools, parks, houses, and industries. The second document, by Lucia, a fifth generation member of the Felton family, is entitled "Belvidere". It consists of a 4-page history of the Felton family from 1780 to 1857. The third document entitled "Where Was the First Mass Said at Sherbrooke" is by Maurice O'Bready, a teacher at the Séminaire St-Charles-Borromée in Sherbrooke. It consists of the texts of three lectures given in 1932 and 1933 on the subject of the first mass and the involvement of the Felton family in this event. Another is a deed of sale to Thomas Evans It also consists of documents related to St. Peter's Church in Sherbrooke (including a partial plan of the St. Peter's Cemetery) from the 1930s and 1967; a notice of meetings for the Sherbrooke Assemblies, 1855-1856; documents relating the 53rd Sherbrooke Regiment from 1925 to 1935; a programme from the Provincial Senior League in Hockey, 1937-1938; a sketch titled "The Old Town Hall on Sherbrooke's Market Square at the turn of the Century" by Robert Vuillemin; a calendar with reproductions of photographs and sketches from Sherbrooke and the Townships; and a history of the regimental guidons of the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment and the 117th Eastern Townships Battalion.

It consists of biographical notes, a certificate from her Communion, a housekeeping journal, remarks on a trip to London, correspondence with her husband and daughter Barbara, poems including one entitled "The Little Sandpiper" by Rose, a property plan for a lot on Queen Street in Sherbrooke, a newspaper article on an address delivered by Rose in 1911, an invitation to Rose and Charles Eardley-Wilmot's wedding, a newspaper article on the wedding, a list of wedding gifts, a photograph of Rose from 1893 and from her marriage in 1914, newspaper clippings regarding her expression of her desire for a "United Canada" with regards to language in 1940, a newspaper clipping from her daughter Sylvia's wedding, a certificate for being a Life Member of the Women's Auxiliary to the Church of England in Canada, Diocese of Quebec, and obituaries announcing her death in 1954.

It consists of a variety of documents (addresses, programmes, newsletters, annual reports) showing Lloyd H. Bowen's involvement in the Boys' Auxiliary and the Men's Society of St. Peter's Church in Sherbrooke from the 1910s to the 1930s. It also includes a pocket edition of the New Testament given to Lloyd H. Bowen in 1924 by his mother Minnie Hallowell Bowen; the programme for the consecration of the new St. Peter's Church in 1902; a copy of Lloyd's baptismal certificate, and an article on the South India Church Union proposals by C.R. Eardley-Wilmot, Lloyd H. Bowen's brother-in-law, reprinted from the Canadian Journal of Religious Thought in 1930.
