The fonds contains information on the butcher shop owned by Leeman Mackey and also on the Mackey family. It consists of several account books (1879-1938), a calendar (1926), a schoolbook (1908), a piano method (1969) and a few photographs (1909 & 1969). The photographs show T.S. Chapman in front of "Good Cheer Lodge" in 1909 and Kathleen Mackey with classmates at the Bishopton Intermediate School in 1969 (the last class before the closure of the school). The school book is autographed "Cora Brown". Among the account books are one for the Megantic Rifle Association (1879-1902), one that appears to be for a boarding house (1889-1892), and the others are from Leeman Mackey's butcher business.

The file consists of a letter by James Barnett about the battle at St. Stephens College Hospital in Stanley, in Hong Kong, during World War II, dated 1941 and an issue of the Montreal Standard that includes a profile the Heroes of Hong Kong, dated 1942. The documents provide information on the siege laid by Japanese troops to St. Stephens College Hospital where the Royal Rifles of Canada were established as well as published photographs of the Royal Rifles. The item is a school notebook, consisting of lesson notes and plans, kept by Berth Ralston from 1891-1902 in West Bolton and following her move to New Hampshire. Bertha B. Ralston was the daughter of Edward Ralston and Carrie Williamson of West Bolton; she was born in 1868, died 1957. Bertha Ralston married Arthur Foster Sumner in 1894 in West Bolton, Quebec. The later moved to Concord, New Hampshire, where they lived until sometime after 1910.

Caroline immigrated to Canada with her family in 1836. She married John Coombs in 1837. The file consists of a memorial booklet written by Eva A. Coombs, Caroline's grand-daughter.
