Lesieur, JeanneThe fonds contains information on the butcher shop owned by Leeman Mackey and also on the Mackey family. It consists of several account books (1879-1938), a calendar (1926), a schoolbook (1908), a piano method (1969) and a few photographs (1909 & 1969). The photographs show T.S. Chapman in front of "Good Cheer Lodge" in 1909 and Kathleen Mackey with classmates at the Bishopton Intermediate School in 1969 (the last class before the closure of the school). The school book is autographed "Cora Brown". Among the account books are one for the Megantic Rifle Association (1879-1902), one that appears to be for a boarding house (1889-1892), and the others are from Leeman Mackey's butcher business.

- Diploma. University of Bishop's College. George Borlase, B.A., 1855. Signed by Examiners H.M. Lower, J.H. Nicolls, H.H. Miles and by Chancellor J.S. McCord. With seal and ribbon. The seal shows an impression of the crest which is the earliest appearance of the crest and motto in the University Archives. The crest does not appear on any of the official university documents such as the Academic Calendar until 1894.

The annual Bishop’s Winter Carnival of 1964 was highlighted by the musical revue "The Grate Escape", written by four students: John Piper ’65, Douglas Tees ’65, Ace Henderson ’65 and John Martland ’64. “Drink a Toast to Bishop’s University" was the grand finale. A recording of the revue was made with a local orchestra, and over the years the exuberant finale song has gained popularity and become known as the Bishop's School Song, or Raise a Toast. It is sung regularly at football games and other university events. In 1995 Douglas Tees heard the song at a football game for the first time since 1964, after which he reflected, "I was delighted to discover what our song had become.”
