Included among the boats pictured are the Island Queen, the Ojibway, the Missisquoi, a schooner captained by W. Montgomery, the Daisy, an unidentified barge, the Windsor, and the Majestic. Also pictured is the Richelieu Bridge and possibly St. Johns wharf.

The compiler of the scrapbook is unknown and consists of theatre programmes, newspaper and magazine clippings, greeting cards, and two water colours, largely from Europe. It also includes references to a Gottinger Corps as well as documents pertaining to the death of Bishop Williams. The collection is comprised of the following series: Train Ticket ([188-?]), Travel Brochures ([191-?] -[195-?]), and Scrapbook (1876-1901).
