Biographical history
John Leonard received an L.L.B. in 1884 from the Bishop's Faculty of Law. He was later a member of the Prothonotary of the Superior Court of the District of St. Francis. John Leonard was Mayor of Sherbrooke in 1905. He married Margaret Gallagher, eldest daughter of Daniel Gallagher of Stantead.
