The fonds of the Société d'histoire et du patrimoine du Haut-St-François was transferred to the Compton County Historical Museum Society at the time of their dissolution in 2006, as the two organizations occupied the Academy building in Eaton Corner.

The fonds contains information on the activities and administration of the Société d'histoire et du patrimoine du Haut-St-François from 1979 to 2000. It consists largely of minutes, reports, research files, photographs, and special projects. It consists of the following series: Administration (1983-2000), Human Resources (1984-2000), Financial Resources (1984-2000), Moveable and Immoveable (1985-1995), Cooperation with other organizations (1979-1998), Membership (1985-1987), Projects (1912-1999), and Photographs.
